Cross-Border B2B Agency — China Market Localization & WordPress Migration

· 2 min read
China Market Localization Case

TL;DR

An overseas B2B agency had a machine-translated website that failed to resonate with Chinese users. We restructured their information architecture, rewrote all marketing copy, and migrated from Wix Studio to WordPress—delivering a responsive website tailored for the China market.

Background

The client, an overseas B2B service provider targeting the Chinese market, faced three core challenges: machine-translated content that felt unnatural and failed to build trust; information architecture that didn't match Chinese users' decision-making patterns; and weak marketing impact that resulted in poor conversions.

Solution

We started from the business side, restructuring the information architecture to align with Chinese users' cognitive patterns and decision paths. All marketing copy was rewritten with local market context in mind, maintaining the brand's international tone while building credibility. The visual design was updated to better match target audience expectations.

On the technical side, we migrated the site from Wix Studio to WordPress for greater flexibility and control. After server deployment and SSL configuration, we optimized loading speeds for China and ensured responsive design across mobile, tablet, and desktop.

Results

Post-launch, the information architecture and all copy passed client review. The WordPress migration reduced ongoing maintenance costs. Responsive design was completed, delivering consistent experience across all devices. Page load speeds in China showed measurable improvement compared to the previous setup.
